In March 2025, the annual Dynamo Dinner transformed into the North East Tech Charity Dinner; with the aim to bring together Dynamo North East members and wider tech sector while generating vital funds for the brand new Dynamo North East Digital Inclusion Fund.

Dynamo North East partnered with the Community Foundation to set up the brand new Dynamo North East Digital Inclusion Fund which looks to help close the digital divide in North East communities. Alongside the annual dinner and guest speaker, the new format saw a live auction and raffle hosted by Alfie Joey, with funds raised donated to the fund.

Along with bringing guests together with a shared purpose to make a difference, the dinner provided just under 200 guests with a meaningful networking opportunity. We look forward to working with Dynamo North East in growing the impact of the event whilst retaining its unique value in bringing members and the regional tech sector together to connect, collaborate and build new and existing relationships.
