We were asked to deliver a high impact, technologically impressive and meaningful event at our client, True Potential’s head office in Newburn. All as a backdrop to welcome the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. We transformed the office space into a presentation area google would have been proud of* (*in our opinion)! With over 200 True Potential staff in attendance, guests were left empowered post-event with a renewed sense of belonging and pride to celebrate their organisation.

Wonderland Ball
Working with The Chronicle Sunshine Fund, BeaconHouse Events help to deliver the annual Sunflower Ball. In 2018 this charity ball had an enchanting design, transforming the space in the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park. The event dressing from playing cards, toadstools and flowerwalls, created a ‘Wonderland’ escape. Miniature cloches with Eat Me tags and brownies completed each beautiful place setting. Mystical Unicorns and a dancing Cheshire Cat added to the magic of the evening. The focus of the event is to raise funds to purchase specialist equipment for local disabled children. Along with charity auctions and raffles, entertainment was provided a live band, fortune telling, a selfie mirror and casino for guests to revel until the early hours.
Cocktails & Views
Northumberland we welcomed an international audience to Blyth Workspace to enjoy the spectacular sights from the fantastic 180 degree views of the Tall Ships 2016. We transformed the already very impressive space to create a truly celebratory experience whilst attendees watched the ships sail into the Port of Blyth. Working with some of our favourite suppliers, JC Events, El Roboto, bels flowers, Coco Luminaire, Boldon Farmhouse Pantry, Zest Mixology the everyday workspace became a themed venue and the perfect backdrop for the invitation only ‘Cocktails & Views’ event. The VIP audience were able to choose from sipping smouldering cocktails prepared by our flare bartenders in our ‘Room with a View’, or sample the local seafood selection in our seaside haven whilst helping themselves to a gin tipple and enjoying live music. We helped to show off the fantastic workspaces available by signposting guests with giant helium balloons and creating unique culinary surprises in each nook and cranny. This was a fantastic opportunity to really show our creative flare whilst providing a practical solution to show off the venue and cultural offerings of the Tall Ships in Blyth.
“…a MASSIVE thank you, the event was amazing and the feedback we got from everyone was unreal. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Nothing was a problem and you all delivered such a great experience for us. I will of course be recommending to you to everyone I know – I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my event – you guys are the best!”

IHG After Party
Such an exciting project! IHG tasked us with creating a ‘wow factor’ event for their national sales representatives meeting taking place in NewcastleGateshead. With only two weeks to create the event concept and actually form the event to exceed their expectations the pressure was on – luckily we work well under pressure! Working alongside the international committee at IHG we created a festival feel event for the group incorporating a walking tour with a difference to get guests from their hotel to the BALTIC. The walking tour included hiring medieval guards to welcome guests at the castle in Newcastle, stopping at the Quayside Seaside for some award winning canapés and entertainment at Riley’s Fish Shack and a drone shot over the iconic and ‘corporate coloured’ Gateshead Millennium Bridge. Upon arrival at BALTIC the party really started! Guests were welcomed by acoustic music and regionally themed snacks and drinks before being led to the Riverside Terrace to enjoy views over the Quayside whilst enjoying live music from The Baghdaddies and street food provided by Fresh Element. The room was adorned with fresh herbs, potted plants, paper lanterns and a host of hurricane lanterns and candles to bring the outdoors in and help guests feel like they could make the most of a festival event whilst avoiding the rather damp weather!
Isos: Team Building
Isos Housing asked us to come up with a concept for a fun day out for their Customers and Communities directorate of 160 staff. After developing options for Isos to choose from they opted for ‘A Day to Remember’ where we incorporated team building musical workshops hosted by Sage Gateshead (including gumboot dancing, percussion workshops and singing), a fun fair themed lunch (complete with candy floss, build-a-burger, popcorn and giant inflatable candy canes), a pub quiz and inspiration speaker all within a high energy and fun packed day. The event wrapped up with the whole directorate singing together as a choir in a grand finale performance and we arranged for the day to be videoed to give the team something to really remember!
Working with BeaconHouse Events was an absolute delight. They took all the stress and worry out of organising our team event, which was a fantastic success. They helped us to deliver an inspiring and motivational day by bringing to the table some great ideas and made us think outside of the box.
