We were asked to deliver a high impact, technologically impressive and meaningful event at our client, True Potential’s head office in Newburn. All as a backdrop to welcome the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. We transformed the office space into a presentation area google would have been proud of* (*in our opinion)! With over 200 True Potential staff in attendance, guests were left empowered post-event with a renewed sense of belonging and pride to celebrate their organisation.
We work with UTC across the North East, managing student recruitment events from venue sourcing, attendee registration, speaker and exhibitor liaison and management to on-site delivery. In addition we organised industry partner events in preparation for the new school opening September 2018, culminating in an official launch January 2019.
We worked alongside The Planet Mark™ team to arrange an invitation only event, held in central London shining a spotlight on how businesses can engage with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. BeaconHouse Events helped co-ordinate the event through the set up, venue finding, planning process, speaker liaison, guest management and sponsorship sales right through to the onsite delivery for over 150 guests representing UK and international organisations.
“Our thanks go to BeaconHouse Events for so expertly, diligently and delicately handling every stage and aspect to make our event such a success. I am sure it will be the first of many. We thank you. You made our life so easy and represented The Planet Mark™ perfectly.”
Steve Malkin, CEO Planet First and Founder of, The Planet Mark™

Crowds are entertained with dance, live music and interviews with elite athletes and celebrity runners. The Pasta Party is perfect place to grab some complimentary pre-run Barilla pasta with sauce, and share excitement and well wishes with fellow runners.
Northumberland we welcomed an international audience to Blyth Workspace to enjoy the spectacular sights from the fantastic 180 degree views of the Tall Ships 2016. We transformed the already very impressive space to create a truly celebratory experience whilst attendees watched the ships sail into the Port of Blyth. Working with some of our favourite suppliers, JC Events, El Roboto, bels flowers, Coco Luminaire, Boldon Farmhouse Pantry, Zest Mixology the everyday workspace became a themed venue and the perfect backdrop for the invitation only ‘Cocktails & Views’ event. The VIP audience were able to choose from sipping smouldering cocktails prepared by our flare bartenders in our ‘Room with a View’, or sample the local seafood selection in our seaside haven whilst helping themselves to a gin tipple and enjoying live music. We helped to show off the fantastic workspaces available by signposting guests with giant helium balloons and creating unique culinary surprises in each nook and cranny. This was a fantastic opportunity to really show our creative flare whilst providing a practical solution to show off the venue and cultural offerings of the Tall Ships in Blyth.
“…a MASSIVE thank you, the event was amazing and the feedback we got from everyone was unreal. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Nothing was a problem and you all delivered such a great experience for us. I will of course be recommending to you to everyone I know – I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my event – you guys are the best!”

Hosted at Northumbria University, we worked with Dynamo North East to create an exciting area consisting of six exhibitors in the hope to create a Big Bang! Spread over two days and open to primary and secondary school children, the fair was a positive way in which children could broaden their interests and exhibitors could increase their profile. The exhibitors incorporated fun with learning by offering opportunities for the children to interact with many types of technology ranging from visual simulators to build-your-own robots. The event had an excellent turn out and resulted in the children feeling highly enthused and motivated. Each Dynamo exhibitor experienced a high level of interest and ended the day feeling extremely positive; although almost certainly in need of some downtime after engaging with the super excited children for two days! Dynamo North East are already looking forward to the next Big Bang Fair.
The User Centred Design Conference is annual event based in London for design leaders, thinkers and practitioners from all disciplines. Over the past three years the UCD conference has earned a reputation as the industry’s alternative hangout. Not too big, not too small, with a program that’s more TEDx than Ux, it’s an antidote to conventional conference fatigue. BeaconHouse Events help to co-ordinate the two day conference for 200 delegates to come together to swap stories and hear about how design is disrupting, transforming and improving our world and the lives of the people in it.
I have more thanks than words can cover for all your efforts.
Karl Smith, UCD UK Co-Director
