The Northern Conversation

BeaconHouse Events work alongside the editorial team at the The Northern Correspondent to deliver a quarterly event series called ‘The Northern Conversation: Live’. The Northern Correspondent is a new print magazine of longer-form journalism and storytelling about the North East, BeaconHouse Events work to theme each event with the content of the latest issue of the magazine which is launched at the event. The events attract an average of 70 delegates to each breakfast session, we work to find unique venues with a character that matches the unique event format and allows optimum opportunity for delegates to become involved in the conversation.

“Many thanks to you again – we’re only able to do the conversation bit at the front because we have full confidence that you’ve got everything else covered!”

Ian Wylie, Editor, The Northern Correspondent

BeaconHouse Events provided onsite event management for the 7th World Conference of Science Journalists in Doha, Qatar to oversee the onsite planning and delivery. We worked alongside event host representatives and their team in the run up to the conference to draw up an action plan of key priorities for the final month before the conference. We oversaw sponsor agreements, venue and contractor liaison, speaker management, onsite logistics and material management, onsite budget management and effective event delivery for the 800 event attendees.

There are no words to express our gratitude to BeaconHouse Events for everything they did for us. Absolutely no words. They are extremely professional at what they do – calm and collected at the most stressful times. They hold everything together and make things work – I have absolutely no idea how. They are definitely in the right line of work and they do it so so well. They made an extremely difficult last few weeks much easier on us.

Public Health Association

BeaconHouse Events offered event consultancy to support UKPHA on the planning, organisation, management and development of the 18th Annual Public Health Forum held at the Bournemouth International Centre. The brief included management of the arts & health, local visits and environmental strands of the Forum. We helped to attract 800+ participants.

BeaconHouse Events worked as consultant advisors to the UK Public Health Association on the planning, organisation management and development of the event. They were crucially important in developing the brand and offer of the UKPHA which focuses upon the social economic and environmental determinants of health and also played a vital role in developing the arts and sustainability programmes which were key to the conference’s success.

Family Law Bar Association

The client required an event consultant to work alongside their team to advise and guide them through the set up and planning process right through to the onsite delivery for their national conference.  We worked with the local organising committee to manage the venue, delegate bookings, suppliers, speakers and programme.

BeaconHouse Events has been a delight to work with from the moment we first met, providing us with invaluable support, guidance and bright ideas throughout their involvement, right through to extensive de-briefing and summary overview of the event afterwards.

Always calm and clear, they explained and always sought our views both timely and appropriately before implementing our instructions with admirable efficiency.

I would strongly recommend BeaconHouse Events for professional and friendly event management expertise.
