We were tasked with creating an invitation only event for ambassadors of Dance City, hosted on their theatre stage! The event showcased Dance City’s achievements over the last 10 years and shared the vision for the next 10 years. 40 guests were treated to some exclusive and intimate performances from Afromix, the Degree Students and Adam Park. Beautiful canapes and drinks opened the event, with sharing brownie, fruit platters and cheeseboards to end.

We work with organisations to curate event programmes for membership bodies, facilitating networking within the industry and regular evaluation reports to monitor development and progression.
Dynamo Membership
We work with the board at Dynamo North East to set up, launch, manage and deliver the inspirational Dynamo Conference, exclusive Board Members Dinner and hugely popular Dynamites Awards. Alongside managing the membership for Dynamo Network we also organise Member Networking events, Think Tank sessions, Panel Sessions, Cluster Meetings and Board Meetings. These events amplify the voice for the sector regionally and nationally and generate ‘noise’ to promote the region as a hotspot for IT/digital business. With a higher frequency of events, and increased attendance, these events work towards the core mission to ‘Grow the North East IT Economy’ through collaboration, innovation, skills.

Sunderland GPA
We worked with our client Sunderland GP Alliance to deliver an engaging half day conference for all members of the Alliance. We ensured the conference delivered in its objective to listen to the thoughts and opinions of the GP’s, nurses and other staff in general practice around how they saw their role developing in Primary Care by using Sli.do technology within the facilitated sessions. Other services included venue administration, marketing and print production, delegate management and communications alongside speaker liaison and onsite delivery.

#CyberFest
A series of events covering the North East during September 2018, including; #CyberNorth a one-day business event in Newcastle hosted by Northumbria University, a business event in Tees Valley hosted at The Europa Building by Teesside University, alongside lunch and breakfast seminars across the region. BeaconHouse Events delivered this new event on behalf of Dynamo North East. Services provided include event marketing, delegate management, sponsorship generation and relationship management, budget management and cost control together with event branding and onsite management.

Business Reception
We delivered invite management, event planning and onsite staffing for a DCMS hosted reception hosted in celebration of the Great Exhibition of the North, post the Cabinet Meeting at SageGateshead. The lunchtime featured speeches from Great Exhibition of the North Chair, Sir Gary Verity; Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Jeremy Wright and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Phillip Hammond, followed by delicious bowl food for guests.

Dynamo North East
We currently work with the board at Dynamo North East to set up, launch, manage and deliver a number of North East IT and tech events. The Dynamo board are volunteer-led with no available resource to manage events, therefore they appoint BeaconHouse Events to direct the events from the outset to onsite delivery. The first conference we worked on achieved over 300 delegates, 80 speakers, doubled the sponsorship target and delivered a complex and well received programme. The surplus achieved from the event allowed the client to invest in further developing the North East’s IT industry.
Following the success of the Dynamo annual conferences, BeaconHouse Events have been contracted to manage monthly ‘DynamoNet’ networking events, the Dynamo membership and the annual Dynamites awards.
