BeaconHouse Events are a key part of the event delivery team on the production of Wild at Kielder, a wildlife festival taking place across Kielder Water and Forest Park annually. The festival allows visitors to see the wilder side of Kielder with a weekend of wildlife themed activities. From meeting feathered friends, trekking with alpacas, watching Osprey’s, learning the science behind red squirrels, learning more about foraging in our forests and wildlife cruises, this event opens up a world of exploration and excitement for young and old. BeaconHouse Events deliver event management, logistical consultation and on-site delivery.
They worked tirelessly to create a varied programme and resolve unique challenges due to the remoteness of the site but they overcame any issues we faced. I can’t emphasise enough how helpful they were, I really felt that we were all just part of the same team working together.

BeaconHouse Events are delighted to be the event management team behind the Great North Pasta Party, an integral part of the Simply Health Great North Run weekend. The latest instalment of the event brought a record number of over 24,000 people to the Gateshead Quayside to enjoy great international food, sporting activities and live entertainment as well as front row views of the action packed Great CityGames. The family friendly Pasta Party gives visitors the opportunity to celebrate all things Great North Run, with a huge indoor and outdoor exhibition space featuring retail stands and a range of free samples. Crowds are entertained with dance, live music and interviews with elite athletes and celebrity runners. The Pasta Party is perfect place to grab some complimentary pre-run Barilla pasta with sauce, and share excitement and well wishes with fellow runners.
Such an exciting project! IHG tasked us with creating a ‘wow factor’ event for their national sales representatives meeting taking place in NewcastleGateshead. With only two weeks to create the event concept and actually form the event to exceed their expectations the pressure was on – luckily we work well under pressure! Working alongside the international committee at IHG we created a festival feel event for the group incorporating a walking tour with a difference to get guests from their hotel to the BALTIC. The walking tour included hiring medieval guards to welcome guests at the castle in Newcastle, stopping at the Quayside Seaside for some award winning canapés and entertainment at Riley’s Fish Shack and a drone shot over the iconic and ‘corporate coloured’ Gateshead Millennium Bridge. Upon arrival at BALTIC the party really started! Guests were welcomed by acoustic music and regionally themed snacks and drinks before being led to the Riverside Terrace to enjoy views over the Quayside whilst enjoying live music from The Baghdaddies and street food provided by Fresh Element. The room was adorned with fresh herbs, potted plants, paper lanterns and a host of hurricane lanterns and candles to bring the outdoors in and help guests feel like they could make the most of a festival event whilst avoiding the rather damp weather!
A celebration event for all Isos Residents. Over 1,500 residents registered for the event and we welcomed them to St James Park to take advantage of a huge family fun day! With an entire level dedicated to kids entertainment complete with inflatables, cinema room, assault courses, face painting, circus skills, colouring competitions, a photo booth and everything in between. Adults were free to enjoy the Isos information and employment zone as well as interactive sessions and a Q&A with Emmerdale’s Charlie Hardwick. We made sure that the event was accessible for everyone and managed a complex transport booking system to ensure residents from across the North East and Northumberland could attend the event. With overwhelmingly positive feedback we’re hoping to make the event an annual celebration for Isos residents.
“Isos is absolutely buzzing this morning with chatter about the festival – a truly fantastic event. I have feedback from the Chair, Vice Chair and Chief Exec who all commented how great it was. You and your team were fantastic and did such a wonderful job. I would like to thank you for all your efforts. A brilliant job, once again, and we couldn’t have done it without you.”
